I know it would have been an excellent day for some baking, but after shoveling twice and then giving up I was too exhausted. :)
This blog is totally devoted to all things scrumptious. I am a grand lover of food, whether it be that I am making it or buying it. Friends have told me that no matter what we are talking about the conversation always comes around to discussing food...the best foods at this restaurant or that restaurant, what I cooked or baked up lately, etc. My sister-in-law Terry and my very good friend Kim insisted that I start my own blog to discuss exactly these things.

This Would be Great for Snow Cones
So, I arrived in Pennsylvania on Wednesday for the holidays and today this is what I awoke to.

We have 15 1/2 inches on the ground and it is still snowing like crazy!!! I love the snow and so I am a happy camper! It is quiet and clean and sparkly. As Lorelai Gilmore (aka The Gilmore Girls) once said "Everything is magical when it snows."
I know it would have been an excellent day for some baking, but after shoveling twice and then giving up I was too exhausted. :)

Wow, that's beautiful! We got about 6 inches or so here in North Carolina. At school just 2 hours away they got 15 inches! I've never seen that much snow in my life!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are enjoying your time off from school. I don't know about you but being snowed in couldn't have come at a better time. My mom and I made the beer bread tonight and it was absolutely delicious! I am going to do a blog post on it. Thank you so much! Happy holidays!
I can't imagine seeing that in real life. I'd die of shock. Seriously. I've seen maybe 2 inches and thought I was in heaven.
ReplyDeleteOh my. I just can't even imagine that much snow, ever! How BEAUTIFUL!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and your family. I hope you have a wonderful holiday!
